In an effort to create active citizens who have the skills to affect change, Political Science students participate in the Civic Action Project through the Constitutional Rights Foundation. As part of this project, students will identify a problem in their community and work collaboratively with different levels of policy makers to implement a change to address that problem. Sample student initiatives include starting clubs on campus, beginning recycling programs, installing stop signs in the community, adding sports teams to the school, and changing the way lunches work, to name just a few.
